Warning - You will get addicted to these spices! Gave these as gifts one year for Christmas and now my family can’t live without their smoked paprika, herbs de romance and their chai.

Honestly AMAZING! SJ, who helped me, was so informative and helpful. Was able to try different spices, learn a little about the differences between them, and overall had a joyful thyme! (haha) Would so recommend for ethically sourced, diverse selection, great packaging, and welcoming space to learn more about the spices that elevate our food (and lives subsequently).

As a chef and restaurateur I am always looking for the freshest and most elemental spices. Curio Spice Shop's inventory is fresh, vibrant, and alive and the selection is smart and worldly. The added bonus is that the staff is knowledgeable and super friendly so if you care about your spices the place is a big win.

I had a reservation at the restaurant next door but was a bit early so I walked into this cute spice shop and was absolutely blown away by the incredible diversity of spices. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and I’m feeling a bit relieved I don’t live too close otherwise I would probably spend WAY too much money here. The prices are surprisingly fair considering the amount of thought and work put into their selection. They had a nice variety of custom blends and less common spices, and a huge selection of pantry staples. I don’t live anywhere near Curio, but I’ll definitely visit the next time I’m in Cambridge!

Here at Curio we're taking COVID-19 very seriously. Employees wear masks for the duration of their shift, wash hands regularly, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. Other policies, such as paid sick time and out-of-state travelling policies, are also in place. Our store has been closed for in-person shopping since March of 2020, but we're offering contactless pickups for local customers and hope to open our shop once again later this Spring. We're also holding occasional outdoor sidewalk sales - the next will be this weekend (3/20-3/21) from 11-4. Hope to see you there!
Hi Anne, We'll be brining our Mala Salt back this holiday season! Keep an eye out for it in November.
Hi Kathy, Almost all of our blends are salt-free, so most will be good for you! You can try Ras el Hanout (one of our newest blends) for chicken and chickpea dishes, Kozani (Greek herbal blend with saffron) for white fish or Greek-style salads, and Mazeh spice for cooking lentils or stewing veggies. Hope that helps!
