Cherry peak is a great resort with year round activities and great staff! We love skiing there during the winter, going to the concerts during the summer, and going to their fall activities. It's got a gorgeous view of the valley! During the summer concert series they have food trucks up there so you can get something to eat for dinner.

Great night at the Cherry Peak Summer Concert Series. Black Stone Cherry was impressive and looked like they were having a blast. Daughtry pushed through some persistent technical difficulties and completely nailed it. Sixth row center was obviously awesome and I personally appreciated the full light show in lieu of pyrotechnics for this particular venue. Definitely returning for more great entertainment options at #skicpr!

Great little resort - almost perfect. We've skied at most of the major resorts in Utah and this was such a breath of fresh air. Went on a Friday - No lines, really nice Lodge and bathrooms. Food is pretty good and really cheap for a ski resort. The parking lot is so close to the lodge, it's a 2 minute walk. And free parking. There's not a lot of Green runs, it's mostly blues with a few blacks. It's a smaller resort so fewer runs, but the runs weren't crowded, especially the blacks. The only negatives to the resort, there's not really a nice easy green to practice or learn on, and snow coverage a little sparse in some areas. There's not a ton of different runs, so probably wouldn't plan to go here more than 1-2 days. Otherwise really fun casual skiing.

I took the family snow tubing here. It was icy on the tube trail so they were only loving people go down the end part of it. That was a bummer but safety first. We learned a lesson: Come after a fresh snow instead of when it has been packed down and melty. The workers are friendly and helpful. The lodge is beautiful. There are a lot of tables and a few couches. My favorite part was the upstairs. It's fun to watch the skiers and boarders and the spectacular views. Great place to relax, warm up, and refuel. We didn't eat anything so I can't speak for the grill. Restrooms clean.

Hi, great question. Think of the ski lift ticket as a boarding pass for an airplane. (You need a boarding pass to board an airplane.) When purchasing a ticket at the front desk of the lodge you sign a contract, or "liability waiver." This liability waiver that you will be signing will only be applicable for the terms (the amount of time your ticket lasts.) Because they have various different ski hours. Such as day, night, and morning tickets. If you are a season pass holder you sign these as you purchase your package. (You usually receive an annual card ID,) remember, it is important to keep your ticket with you at all times whilst on the mountain, and is required to ride the lift. You can learn more about Utah ski law if you search "the inherent risk of skiing Utah."
Yes, rental shop is at ground level of the lodge on the parking lot side of the building.
