Spent a day with the team from Whisper Ridge last month and had one of the best ski days ever. The guides put us on untracked powder over and over on every run and by the end of the day I was completely spent from so many long runs. Not only was the skiing incredible, but the staff was gracious and helpful throughout the day. From Check in to check out, they are a class act group. I can't wait to get back up and spend another day with Dan Lockwood and his amazing team. Thanks again Whisper Ridge for an incredible experience.

It was my first time going on a full day snow cat operation and I had a fantastic day. The guides were very knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely looking for all of us to have an exceptional experience. We had a mix of skiers and snowboarders and the terrain we went on was challenging with decent powder with no new snow and still early season conditions. I would definitely recommend Whisper Ridge and will visit again.

I am really bummed to write this review. I have tried to work things out with operations manager Wes but after all efforts have failed. Short version: If you want an exciting day and diverse terrain then please ski elsewhere. It is simply not worth what they charge and we wound up skiing the ‘warm up lap’ all day long. We have had much better experiences elsewhere. Long version: We skied with Whisper Ridge in late January 2018. After calling the day before to check conditions we were told "hearing great things on the radio". We skied off of the same small ridge all day long, taking the same cat trip back to the top over and over again. All day long! We often crossed our own and others tracks and all runs (verified by my go pro video) were between 40 and 50 seconds long. Whisper Ridge simply didn’t deliver. We reached out to them, multiple times, to ask if the terrain just wasn’t available or if our experience was typical and can’t even get a response at this point. If we were going to be on VERY limited terrain I feel that we should have been informed and not changed the full amount. Very disappointed!

Incredible! No word fits better. From the views to the amazing snow Whisper Ridge delivered. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly showing our group the safest and best runs possible. I was surprized at the variety of runs from relatively sweet floater runs to runs I felt I could push my abilities. Probably one of the most incredible parts about Whisper Ridge is the ease of access. It was almost easier to get to than most normal resorts and yet this is anything but normal. Cannot wait to hit it up again this 2017 season. Thanks for the incredible day. We are excited to see these new yurt villages you were telling us about.
