Bear Lake Golf Course

Found the golf course in excessive disarray. Not managing the drought well. Apparently under new management. Lots of issues with course, tee times, and quality of amenities. Biggest issue is allowing 6somes. Saw many during visit resulting in excessive wait times. No marshall on course resulting in lawless behavior on course including observed fisticuffs. Family favorite golf course now a scary place to visit? Views are still great, but quality of golf not so much

Great golf course but don't book online it doesn't let you change how many people you can play. And they wont let you change it.

So I’m not a golf expert at all, but I enjoyed the course and had a good time. The grounds were well maintained and the carts were fully functional. The best part by far was the view on the course. You get a fantastic view of the lake the stretches out long and far. Honestly, I would have preferred to just stand and stare rather than play. Overall, a great time.

This is a fun course that is very hilly. Several tees are elevated above the fairways. Hole #9 is quite unique as the fairway has a large hill in the middle of the fairway and then you shoot up to a green that is on top of another hill. It is hard to describe but really fun to play. The hills basically become your best friend or your worst enemy depending on which way the ball rolls. Also, there are some well placed canals and ponds. Despite the water hazards there is usually plenty of fairway to play safe shots if you don't want to risk losing a ball. The wildlife can be fun as well. This July we saw a moose on #2, turkeys on #9 and an eagle on #9. We have seen the moose before so I think he might be an employee. He trims the trees. Overall, this is a great course that is worth a visit if you are near Bear Lake.
