My favorite place in the world! House Rabbit Network volunteers LOVE what they do and want to help you bring home a bunny to love. So many wonderful rabbits available for adoption- plan on falling in love. Helpful social media gets my questions answered ASAP. Great events with a great community. Thanks, Suzanne and Julie- you rock! <3

I have owned a bunny for 6 years and also am a volunteer at HRN, This place is bunny heaven, taking care of bunnies in the shelter and in foster homes. Best place to learn about the beautiful creatures bunnies are and find your next bunny son/daughter.

Got my new bundle of energy May 2021. Volunteer was very nice. Got to spend time with a few bunnies, no pressure to pick. I was very happy with the process, even happier to head home with JC.

I adopted my second rabbit as a forever mate with my other rabbit Tucker. They love each very much. The House Rabbit Network helped me to find the perfect fit for Tucker and I am forever grateful. The rabbits are taken very well care of and the people are very helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

House Rabbit Network | Aug 27, 2021

To adopt from House Rabbit Network, we ask for a fixed adoption donation of $100 for one bunny, $175 for a pair, or $225 for a trio. All of our rabbits are fixed prior to adoption and the donation helps to offset the cost of the procedure.

Do you guys have Netherland Dwarfs there?!

Christie Kinenchen | Aug 27, 2020

They have many different kinds of bunnies. Meeting bunnies at a shelter is the best way to find a bunny who mistakes your lifestyle and personality. I thought I was going to adopt Flemish giant rabbits for my whole life, but a Californian picked me and we're best friends.

I did not see the shelter when I got there. So where is it?

Miriam Maldonado | Aug 28, 2019
House Rabbit Network | Aug 28, 2019

Hi Miriam- Our shelter is located in a small complex on Survey Circle, which is the street that runs next to the Wu Loon Ming restaurant. Turn on to Survey Circle and it will lead you into the parking lot- there are two blue-gray buildings that are identical, and our shelter is located in the first building on the lower level to the left- you'll walk down a small pathway to the entrance. You'll see our bunny decorations in the window. The address is 1 Survey Circle. Please note we are open by appointment only, so we're not able to accommodate walk-ins. To start the adoption process and discuss coming by to see the rabbits, please give us a call on the adoption hotline at 781-431-1211. Thanks! -Dawn, HRN Volunteer

How much are the rabbits and guinea pigs ? And cost of cage ?

WALESKA ASTACIO | Aug 28, 2018
Christie Kinenchen | Aug 28, 2018

The adoption fee for a rabbit is $85 and they don't sell or recommend cages. Midwest exercise pens are a cheaper, better enclosure for rabbits and they require daily exercise outside that enclosure. Rabbits live for a decade or more, so consider where you'll be in 5 years, in 10, and in 15 and make sure you'll be in a place where you'll be equipped to take care of an emotionally high-maintenance animal that's considered "exotic" (and therefore potentially very expensive) by veterinarians. If that's not an option, guinea pigs and rats also make wonderful companions with shorter lifespans.
