This was a very calming place to visit. There is nothing better than sitting in a room full of butterflies and flowers. Personal experience is wearing a white shirt and some sweet lotion and they will adore you!

A magical place to visit. Various butterflies of all kinds from around the world live in a greenhouse environment. Not overly big but enough room to enjoy around other guests. It does get fairly hot so be prepared with layers or dress accordingly for very warm weather.

Very much enjoyed seeing so many butterflies & moths & beautiful plants. Staff is very knowledgeable & helpful. I had a Blue Morpho butterfly land on me & stay with me for at least 20min. Then another landed on my head & stayed for about 5min. We took my 10 year old nephew & he enjoyed it very much. Another favorite thing was the Quail birds in the habitat. They are small chubby little birds that wander all around & they are absolutely adorable! I definitely recommend a visit.

Found this place on a whim and ended up finding a new favorite! The staff are friendly and highly knowledgeable. Tons of butterflies every where. My daughter's were entertained for hours. They even sell in season caterpillars to take home and hatch.

Hi! Sylvia here from The Butterfly Place. As James said, best not to let out in the rain as the butterflies need to be able to warm their wings to fly off. However, if you release them and it rains later, don't worry: they'll find a place to roost if they need to.
It is very small so i would double check

From the info i got there, tbey are very careful about bringing in any bacterial or viral contaminants as to disease their other habitants. They do have a quarantine area even from their suppliers. The only other thought is to contact them directly. Good luck!
They're open 7 days a week from Valentine's Day through Columbus Day. Closed on Easter Sunday.
