Another amazing day with Saltwater Excursions. I’ve fished with Kristen and her crew for over 5 years and have never been disappointed. Reliable boat, savvy captains and awesome deckhands. Definitely a 5 star operation.

If I could give 100 stars I would, amazing people. My daughter caught her first halibut onboard for her graduation trip. Would I book again? Without question, captain Chris and deckhand Hagen were not only amazing hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure we hit the fish. A 127.5 pound halibut welcomed my daughter into the realm of the halibut fishermen. Amazing customer service, absolute professionalism, pure Alaskan hospitality. If you want fish, book with these folks.

We had a great trip with Chris and Hagen. They got us on the fish and kept the boat laughing all trip long. Already looking at bringing more friends to Whittier!

FISH ON!!!! My wife and I went Halibut fishing with Saltwater Excursions on 5/21 while visiting from Texas and it was an absolute blast! Not only did we catch a lot of fish, we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The crew aboard the Saltwater Addiction was awesome, CA Chris and DH Hagen we’re extremely helpful and kind to everyone. 12 out of 10 would recommend them!

Sockeye do run in Prince William Sound. Mainly they are recognized as a commercial fish. Sport fisherman are allowed to fish for them and mostly they are snagged by throwing a heavily weighted treble hook in the water and ripping it through the water.
