The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It's not clear from the website but all the rooms are in buildings that set at 3 different levels on the bluffs. The rooms that are lowest on the bluff and closest to the highway get the most noise, but with the doors and windows closed the rooms are not noisy. If you pay the up-charge for a river view then be advised that no rooms have any unobstructed view of the river and at best you will see portions of the river between telephone and power lines. Very limited food services available for breakfast and lunch only. If you are not with a tour package then you'll find there are only 3 small parking lots and you will have to take your luggage from those parking lots to your rooms by yourself. The staff are friendly and helpful but seem to be shorthanded and busy. Those items are why I give it a 4, but I would stay here again.

We stayed three nights here, and had a great time. The room was very nice with good views of the mountains across the valley. We were able to park in the upper parking lot (paved) for our entire stay, which was very convenient for the motorcycle. There is guest laundry in one of the buildings. The laundry room is quite large, and very convenient. There is food on site, but it's a short hike to other options in glitter gulch. The hotel does offer a shuttle service, into the park.

The view from the hotel is amazing, and you can sit on the balcony of the main building to take it all in. There’s a cafe that sells boxed lunches for longer tours and an on-site restaurant that’s open from 4-10pm. We didn’t get to try it, because we opted to try Prospectors pizza in town (which was good!). The room itself was fairly small and outdated. There are a lot of mosquitos in the area at least at this time of year, and even though we tried not to, we ended up with quite a few in the room.

We enjoyed our stay here. The facility is a midrange hotel, nicely maintained, clean and functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful, despite being constantly busy. Easy walk down to the ‘strip’ where there are many dining and shopping opportunities. Nice balcony from our room, although trees blocked any sort of a view, but very pleasant to sit out there after a long day. Shuttle busses for getting around the area were timely and easy to use. On-site restaurant and snack bar were surprisingly good (see specific review for Mountaineer Grill). Very efficient getting to and from the train, they handled our luggage, no problems. The only caveat would be that if you are in one of the 2 story units, the sounds from upstairs are loud, unfortunately easy to hear people talking and walking around. (Maybe we just had loud neighbors, but they naturally were up and partying until the wee hours of the night). An overall great experience.

Possibly but since we were there while a lot of places were closed I am not sure. Call the concierge at the hotel, they should be able to help.
The rooms are like cottages. Quite expensive.
Do not think they are open this time of year .
