Longmeadow is well stocked and conveniently located. They have just about everything I have ever needed. They are a bit more expensive than a Home Depot or Lowe's but they have quality items and it saves me a 20 minute drive to Rochester. Be warned, the aisles are not labeled, so it can be very difficult to find what you are looking for if you are unfamiliar with the layout. However, the staff are quite helpful.

We go there for chicken feed occasionally. They're not the worst around, although customer service doesn't seem to be their strongest asset. Who cares? It's a hardware/farm supply store! Know what you need/want, look for it, and you might find it. Don't expect the people behind the counter to know what you're talking about. They're kids! They stock a lot of stuff, most of it isn't priced but now they provide those things where you can scan it and get the price. Don't sweat the small stuff, and you'll do fine. And I like that they don't care if it's summer or winter, when they're closed, they're CLOSED.
