I used to attend Sunday Morning worship at the Myrtle Baptist church in Newton, MA. about 11 years ago. I was living with my terminally ill sister and she treated me very badly. She and her corrupt daughter who I believe traffics illegal drugs till this day, fed me spoiled meatloaf to give me food poisoning on purpose! Because I had no money to buy any food. I had violent, painful stomach cramps!! Even though I knew what they did, I felt sorry for my sick sister. She passed away in 2012. Because I knew she was bitter with God about her advanced cancer prognosis. I went here and gave what little money I had faithfully. I remember asking Rev. Crowley for help with housing. He gave me his business card. I know the church I had supported, had enough financial resources to help me. But Rev. Crowley purposely avoided my emails, voicemails, direct contact with him and any request for housing assistance. One day, I was at my temporary job in Boston, my sister called me and said: "I'm throwing your sh@t out today! The church never lifted a finger to help me in my time of need. So, I never returned. A lot of hypocrisy is all I remember. I have not been back since 2009! If there was not a pandemic, I still would not return! It is just a busine$$ , too busy preaching the "pro$perity gospel!" Myrtle Baptist Church is nothing more than a shrine, big enough to encompass Rev. Crowley ego, bank account and church credit card$ complete with an expense account, nothing more!
