Questions & Answers

Can you recover data from an external hard drive that was knocked to the floor a few times...at most about 15” drop. It turns on and I can feel vibration coming from inside the case. It is not a digital drive.

Most likely the read heads have locked into place. I will not be able to recover data as I do not have a clean lab necessary to do so.
