To say that I was discouraged looking for a car, is to say nothing. However, when I discovered Alderman's Toyota, I ended up traveling from New York City to Rutland to buy my new car. Just a bit of background. The car I had for about 10 months was stolen from behind my house, and I found myself looking for another car, in the environment that every single dealership would have absolutely insane markups on all their vehicles. I've actually contacted dozens of dealerships in about 8 states, and lost all faith that I would find an dealership. Then, I found the car I ended up purchasing. It was in transit from the factory, so after a short conversation with my dealer Ms Newton, I reserved the car and waited for about 2.5 weeks for delivery. Then I had a hassle-free experience signing papers, and driving off with the car. I would like to sincerely thank everyone at the dealership.

Service was completed in a timely manner. But the initial customer service was poor. I was told over the phone I was promised I could get a rental. Toyota was paying for it. So, My girlfriend and I, drove the 20 miles that morning to drop the truck and grab a rental so I could return to work. When all paperwork was completed, they ran into an issue. They looked at my ID and realized how old I was, or wasn’t. They couldn’t get me a rental because I wasn’t old enough. The manager said himself “I assumed you were old enough.” So my girlfriend and I were stranded for an hour until we got a ride home. They made promises that they couldn’t fulfill.

In these challenging times this dealership really takes the time to get it correct. From the call center to the service advisor including the service manager. They are all active to get you what you what you need to get you back on the road. Friendly and great communication. Don’t be surprised to see the owners walking about the dealership making sure you also have a great experience.
