7/13/22: We spent a great time having dinner on our dad’s birthday here!! They have good portion for the price we paid, and their food taste great (seasoning nicely, not overly salty). You will be walking in to a cozily and beautifully decorated space, and our server was friendly. I recommend the California omelette and Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce, don’t forget their huckleberry milkshake as well! We will be back for sure

Got seated right away, the place was not very busy when we got there. Seemed like there were quite a few new people working there. We ordered coffee, hot and iced. Their concept of how ice coffee should be made and served was a little off. In other words, no warm or hot coffee served over ice, ever. Ordered Bruce's meat lovers omelet Hash browns and grits, I was brought Hash browns and pancakes. Omelet, Hash browns, and pancakes were good. But I would have preferred the grits, possibly next time. Shasta Scramble with wheat toast and coffee. It all came out right. So all the ceiling fans were running, except the one closest to our table, it was inoperable. Half way thru our meal the restaurant was starting to fill up, and it was getting hot in there. They had people on the roof working on the A/C, which was also not working. We had another cup of coffee, and they poured hot coffee into my glass and brought me a cup of ice... We finished and left, it was cooler outside the restaurant, go figure

The Black Bear Diner is a fantastic diner that promises through its large portions and fantastic menu options to leave you walking out full. Our party took an assortment of foods from breakfast egg dishes and pancakes to burgers and onion rings - all of us were enamored by the charm of the diner and the delicious menu items, but we will all need some time to walk off all the food we had! Recommendations include The Original ScramBOWL, carrot cake and pancakes! The hot chocolate is fantastic as well.

Jared was amazing never had such great service! He was so nice and i don't come here often but I over heard him talking to regulars he new there names and orders which is so sweet! But of course he kept the huckleberry lemonade coming! He deserves a raise such a fantastic employee!
