We are never disappointed...best place to go at 6pm they have bottle feeding for the newborns and apple slices to feed all the rest of the guests staying at the ranch. One of the best jobs these people have.

This is an amazing place to see deer close up, learn about their lives, and feed them. The owners are very open and engaging. This is a must stop place if you are in the area and if you’re not, go out of your way to visit.

Rather rustic facility but so very worth the drive and money. The deer are so sweet and the lady who runs it is very knowledgeable. Best to plan your trip at feeding time. Feeding the apples to the deer totally makes the experience. They go from being far and shy to up close and friendly. We try to go every year.

If you buy admission for 2 adults, its $16 ($8 per person) this allows you to come and go for one entire day as many times as you want. For example, say you go in the morning and realize you want to go back when they are feeding the fawns. You can return later in the day for no extra charge.
It is 8.00 cash only. There is a museum attached as well. If you are looking to feed them wait until 6pm. It's well worth it.
Is it after hours? They were open later hours in the summer.
Most of the deer are from those who lived on the ranch. There are a few "replica" mounts which are noted as such.
