I presented my classic car for evaluation and assessment of work that needed to be done. They were professional, prompt and reasonably priced. They performed a thorough assessment of my car and wrote an excellent report with clear recommendations and estimates for work to be done.

I have a 1970 plymouth duster that had broken down over this past weekend. I called on Monday to have car towed over and repaired. I also had a list of things that I wanted done to the car. I was told that the lot was full and to call Wed morning around 8 am. I was also told that if it couldn't be picked up Wed it would be by the end of the week. I call today and get told we'll were still busy call on Tuesday. If i can't even get the car in to be looked at how long will I get pushed off. I also didn't like the nonchalant attitude I received. I understand you are busy however my vehicle matters too. You guys cost yourself a long term customer. I found a local shop who did accommodate me and appreciates my business.

I’ve been using Fort Pitt Classic Cars for my 1968 Mustang GT for many years. Great work at fair prices for regular servicing and minor restoration needs. I recently decided it was time to let the car go after almost 20 years of ownership. While talking with Ron, he mentioned that Fort Pitt also had a consignment selling program. After speaking with Colin, I knew that going with the Fort Pitt program would be the best way to get the car sold at the highest price. Colin has a great deal of expertise in the classic car marketplace, particularly Fords. They’ve recently completed a number of high dollar sales/transactions, and the consignment fee was reasonable for the services performed. I worked together with Colin to come up with the initial selling price. It didn’t take long to get a final sale (to someone in France!) at a price just under the initial listing price. It was really nice to let someone else handle all of the work associated with selling the vehicle – vehicle prep/pictures, listings (on multiple websites), dealing with inquiries, dealing with pre-purchase inspections, and validating the funds transfer. Trying to manage a sale to someone outside of the U.S. would have been a challenge – Colin and the FPCC team handled all the details. I highly recommend working with Colin at Fort Pitt if you are looking to sell your high-end classic car.

Simply a great experience overall, no bad taste dealing buying a used car from this company and Colin was a very honest and helpful person. Bought my 1999 Mercedes E55 sight unseen and everything went well, no surprises when the car was delivered and best of all, it is everything I have come to expect from the car and the person representing it. I'm a business owner myself and it is very important that we treat our customers the way we ourselves want to be treated. But it is all too common for used car dealers to over promise and under delivery, however, I will not hesitate to buy from Fort PItt Classic again. Keep up the good work Colin.
