I've tried 5 different cakes there so far with my friends and they would have to be the best cakes I've ever eaten. My favorite so far would have to be this poppy oranage cake with honey buttercream, the icing wasn't crazy sweet like other buttercream icings ive had and the flavor just mouthwatering with an amazing ratio of salty. And their rose and lavender love cakes are like whimsy in your mouth. All I want is to try every cake they make. They're a lil pricey but thats not a complaint, I think it's fair for what you're getting. I want to go there every week now to try something new and one day splurge on a full cake, tho picking a favorite will be hard, I'll have to keep notes. I've been hooked in fully by delicious cakes with the best tasting icings I've ever known. Would 100% recommend treating yourself here, especially with their late hours, it's perfect for dropping by after work or a day of errands.

Butterwood is one of my FAVORITE places in the city. Amazing cobblers and cakes. A great first date spot or place to just grab dessert and tea. The staff is always very kind and vegan options are equally delicious!

I absolutely loved this little shop! The sweets and tea were amazing! The barista was so sweet! It’s a perfect spot to study, for a date, or hang out with friends. Highly recommend the rose tea and the cobbler. The sweets they have aren’t overwhelming sweet which is a plus. 10/10 recommend and a plus to support the local shops.
