City Grows is a unique experience in well-being.The array of plants growing in harmony in this beautiful and healthy ecosystem is life affirming. The colors, scents and textures are a delight for the senses. Just what we need in these unprecedented times. Jason and Wiley are gifted plant wellness specialists and go over and above in customer care. I’m ever grateful to the these amazing humans, their breadth of knowledge, creativity, gentle sense of humor, and kindness. They make every visit I make memorable and remarkable.

I love City Grows. They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as pots and organic products. I love how full their little shop in Lawrenceville is. You can even find unique gifts like dried flowers, chocolates, and locally made soaps. The staff is always kind and helpful when you have questions.

City Grows has a great selection of well cared for plants for any home or business. Employees were very helpful and friendly. We found a number of beautiful plants and appropriate pots for each of them.

So many tropical plants and succulents to choose from. Very welcoming and homey. I enjoyed looking at all of the different plants. I had to buy one. The workers are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Hi Karen. Our website is designed to give people general information about the shop and contact info. We don’t sell online, and as Caitlin was nice enough to explain, our plant supply varies from day to day. We do have the largest selection of tillandsia in Pittsburgh though. Caitlin, we’re in the process of training some new employees and I apologize for any inconvenience you might have had. We have hundreds of different kinds of plants and stock so we’re working hard to increase their knowledge.
Yes we do!
We do have aquatic plants! Currently we don’t have hornwort in stock.
We do sell them, but the best time to put them in your yard is late spring early summer so they have time to reproduce. We have sold out now.
