The topography and natural landscape was beautiful. The particular trail that we walked was littered with trash, there were various clothing items and towels all along the trail and in the water, at one point on the trail there appeared to be homeless camp as well.

Very nice if you take the trail from the river up to the hmm, no real falls I saw, but fast running water in some spots and beautiful. Trail is easy and maintained.

Peaceful and tranquil besides the trash/litter. Few people around and has a decent trail along river. Good views but the path could be maintained better.

This is one of 6 Buttermilk falls in PA. While it's not the "big" falls below Indiana, its still so beautiful. My friends and I hiked as far as we could go on the trail, then on the way back, waded down the river. Very peaceful and fun. And the parking area, there is a deep swimming hole with a rope swing I hope to experience this summer!!

Yes, I just went up last weekend and caught a big catfish,a sauger and a small bluegill. They are a little sluggish but ok as long as the water runs. I have seen the falls a trickle.
I do not believe they stock at the falls itself. I know they stock the cowashanick creek farther upstream, around the gas station, and the trout may swim down. If you decide to go to the falls, walk along the creek upstream. There are a few nice holes and you might hook into one up there.
Depends which parking lot as well as 2 different trails. The easiest is the parking lot on the backside and take the hiking trail along the stream. The hiking trails will take you to the falls and then provide the option to go up hill.
Yes there's a small space behind one but nothing huge.
