Having been a patient here many times, I have never met a more caring, compassionate, group of men and women. Having to spend months confined inside a hospital, You tend to get closer to the staff then if you'd only been there a few days. I can't speak highly enough for all those who go far beyond their job description, to care for the sick and dying. God Bless each and everyone of you.

Honestly, this hospital is awful in many ways. If you Can go somewhere else, then you should! I tried to make an urgent same day appointment, got bounced around, and when I finally got a hold of who I needed, waited Hours to hear back from a nurse to even Make the appointment, called back to leave Another urgent note when I hadn’t heard back Still, and NEVER HEARD BACK AT ALL. I had to waste all that time to make an apt somewhere else. This is not to mention a Botched surgery I experienced here as well. If your issues is urgent or important Go Somewhere Else!

I came to Dartmouth by ambulance. I stayed in the ICU for two nights three days. I was considered an ICU patient for the first night only. It was a pleasant experience and they did a good job with everything, the only thing that I have to bring up and mention is that there were two nurses that made comments regarding my situation that they had no idea what it was about and what happened. They should not have made these comments. It was inappropriate and they knew nothing about my situation or why I was there.
The Traveling Fool
I was in Ortho as a travel nurse. The employees there are so helpful to each other and to the patients. I have never seen anything like it. The patients have almost constant access to their team of doctors. As a nurse, if I needed to communicate with the patient's whole team, it just took a simple message on the computer and most often a resident or physician would show up within minutes. Also, since we communicated in that way, any message that was sent from anyone on that team, including social workers, doctors, nurses, would be seen by everyone. That really helped me to care for the patients and to know what was going on with them and their care plan at all times. I will say it was shocking to me that often that patients were angry and abusive toward staff even though the care they were receiving was phenomenal. This is one of few hospitals I've worked at that I would feel comfortable being a patient at yet every day we were yelled at and lied about. As far as anyone else considering working there as a travel nurse, I think overall it was great. There aren't a lot of restaurants in the area or much to do though.

Even though it is after hours you should be able to call the emergency room and they should be able to connect you accordingly. I hope everything works for the best. I will be praying for her recovery 💛

See my post it might save you some "time"
You should be able to contact the new provider and tell them that you're interested in doing this and they can generally take it from there. If the existing provider is part of Dartmouth Health, you shouldn't have to transfer any hospital records to the new provider.
Fireside Inn, West Lenanon NH
I don't know about taxi but we have shuttle bus services
There are multiple closings due to storm, call to reschedule. Stay safe.
Yes, very good. I am having surgery on my right foot next month and I am very confident.
Depends where the person your visiting is located, I believe it is one vistor at a time unless it is for child birth then I believe it increases to 2 visitors.

Most clinics are accepting visitors with the patient. Certain areas are still restricted but most places you are free to join him in his appointment.
I believe that they are. Just not taking any unnecessary surgeries. Hope this helps
Thank you for reaching out. We have a gift shop inside the hospital. This link may provide some helpful information: https://www.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/at-hospital/flowers-gifts-conveniences.html
There is a coffee shop/ cafe, a full cafeteria, a pizza place, and an Au Bon Pain within the hospital.
I don't believe so
Contact neurology, and request info about a sleep study. Your primary care physician may be able to help set everything up, or at least refer you to the right office.
Days Inn might.
Absolutely as Kristen mentioned! If you're in need of help whether that means assistance getting to the bathroom, need a drink, cup of ice, something to eat, help working the TV, need medication, etc. If you're in the bathroom use the call bell or pull the string if you've fallen, need any help because there's something you can't do alone (standing back up, showering, etc). Don't be afraid to use it! They're very nice about coming to help someone who needs help!
There are three nearby. https://www.google.com/search?q=campgrounds+near+lebanon+nh&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1-m Quechee, Mascoma, and Crescent.

I want to say Dr Hyams, but you could always call urology and ask for them.
On the sixth floor in the Faulkner Building, which is right next to the parking garage. It's a lovely space, very kid oriented.
Very dissmive. Does not believe in " prevention care". As in MGUS, different doctors in same Oncology Department, treatment very dissmive and unwilling to do research readily available to public".
Yes, there is public WiFi available.
Go to Dartmouth. They are amazing
Reception desks are named by the floor number and an alphabet. Id suggest you get to floor 3 and then ask at the information desk for directions :)
Google says yes. However where ever you go to get the flu shot they will be able to tell you.
There financial aid office.
I would make an appointment with the ear nose throat specialist as soon as you can
There is a line you can call to find out who is accepting new patients. Do you want care for a family with children? You can get a pediatrician for them and internal med for you. Or you can choose a family practitioner for everyone.
Make sure you write "patient" after the name. The staff population is large.
