I ordered a fish SANDWICH, a side of macaroni & cheese and a steak salad. $36 The fish came without a bun ( not a sandwich, just fish & potato chips in a styrofoam container). The breading on the fish was almost burnt. I would have taken it back but I was starved. The macaroni & cheese was so pasty I couldn’t eat it. The steak salad had about 4 tiny pieces of steak, 6 or 7 French fries, a couple of cucumbers and the rest was lettuce. SO DISAPPOINTED. I’ve heard nothing but positive comments and I’ve ordered from this place before without issues. Today’s experience was so bad I will not be ordering from this place again.

Have been living close to this place for 5 years and was always intrigued with the number of cars parked outside the restaurant. It was obvious that this is a local favorite and after trying today, I can understand. Ordered the mother clucker chicken sandwich and it was super tasty and juicy!! I only have one data point but the taste of one sandwich piqued my interest enough that I will be going back again to try other items on the menu.

Great luncheon bar resturant. Meatballs ARE worth bragging over. Really friendly wait staff that HUSTLES and looks after you.

Service was great!.... but my steak and cheese was not. WAY TOO MUCH cheese... It had like a pizza worth of mozzarella on a roll that was over toasted to the point the ends had become giant croutons that cut the roof of my mouth when I bit into it. So much cooking oil/grease leaked out of the sandwich it soaked into the chips on the plate and made them inedible. The Guinness is served ice cold??
