Every time I go to the city from the suburbs, I look forward to arriving at the train station and getting my popeyes fix on; sadly, this is the second time in a row with significant issues. The first time was a communication issue with an employee who gets paid to mumble. When I expressed, "I can't hear you, one more time?" I was greeted with laughter on my face. I was not amused and left empty-handed. No complaint was filed, as the manager witnessed the event; I assumed it would have been addressed appropriately with additional training. After all, this is a customer service position. Today, I ordered two #4 combo meals with a drink, nothing complicated. Unfortunately, I was left empty-handed and was waiting for fifteen minutes to get my order. When I addressed the staff, there was no rush or care; they ignored me, didn't provide my receipt, and didn't get my meal. When asked for a refund because this delay almost caused us to miss our train (leaving in 90 seconds), I was REFUSED reimbursement for an entire order never provided. As the two of us ran to make our train due to this entire staff's lack of time management, we are now taking a two-hour ride back to the burbs....starving and additional out-of-pocket expenses ($24) with a promised service that was never fulfilled. I will be contacting corporate over this, as it was the only negative review I have ever given a company on a google platform. Considering a few hundred reviews written for our community, that takes serious effort. In addition, I will be seeking reimbursement for the meal which was never provided. The organization is a significant issue at this specific location; had they called out order numbers and provided receipts, all of this would have been avoidable.

Typically I love Popeyes, however the Chicken sandwich here was super dry and borderline inedible. Had much better experiences at other locations, this one just lacks effort and quality.

The chicken in our chicken sandwich had a green/grey tinge and had the texture of day old chicken. It was inedible (without risking food poisoning), so we had to toss it. The chicken was definitely not fresh and was at least several hours old, but considering the time we ordered, it was probably from the night before.

Old, cold food. Smallest chicken tenders. The chicken sandwich has a tiny breast. They purposefully don’t mention what you’d like for your drink and bank on the majority of people forgetting their drink. The prices are hiked up and you can’t use the promos on the app. I wish they would get audited by a health inspector.
