It's not pretty but you can cash in all of your MA alcoholic and non alcoholic cans and bottles here all at one location without worrying about which store sells what

He was the rudest human being that I’ve had to deal with in a long time when I wasn’t in the wrong I apologize several times and he continue to be very very rude a terrible human being

I let the copious amounts seltzer cans I drink build up and walk out with around $30 every 2-3 months, love having this service minutes away. The owner is a great guy, and likes to joke around but will be annoyed if you show up 10 minutes before closing time.

Do you have to live in Amesbury to use this service?

Sam Gelineau | Aug 26, 2020
Skylar Bianculli | Aug 26, 2020

Not at all! It's a really usefully service anyone can use. You bring in your bottles/cans that have the MA 5 cent. Separate them from glass plastic and cans in any of the trays, they count it, you get paid and done!

is this place still opened for business and will I receive cash for my bottles and cans?

Diane Scott | Aug 27, 2019

Yes it is and pays you cash. FYI. The more organized you are with yours bottles & cans the easier and less stressful it will be. I alway know exactly what I have before I go but I do it on a larger scale. Good luck & God bless!😊

Can you mix beer cans and soda cans in same large clear bag.

When you get there, they usually have you put all your can out on trays of 24. Soda/beer doesn't matter, as long as they all have the 5cent redemption stamp for MA. The guy has been a stickler for it to me in the past.

I am wondering if this place will take crushed cans? I will have them bagged and pre-counted. Thank you.

Kendall Prescott | Aug 26, 2020
Edward Shea | Aug 26, 2020

The only value for crushed cans is at a junk yard. The last time I sold crushed cans I got 30 cents a pound. Best place to sell them is at SCRAPIT in Everrett. Prices fluctuate, so call ahead for a price. Not all junk yards or metal dealers give you the best price. SCRAPIT ALWAYS HAD THE HIGHEST PICE.

Do you take plastic bottle returns?

D M | Aug 26, 2020
Edward Shea | Aug 26, 2020

Yes, redeemable plastic bottles as long as it has a MA redemption on it

Called ahead of time and was told they close 2:30-3:00 today, I'm here now and no one answering the phone or door. Is it lunch break or what?

Austin Gimby | Aug 26, 2020
Edward Shea | Aug 26, 2020

Tough doing it xmass eve. Look like he closed early as did many places.

Do they accept the 2.75 and 3 Liter plastic bottles? Thank you

Clifford Ledoux | Aug 27, 2019
Edward Shea | Aug 27, 2019

As long as it has MA redemption on it they will. They take all of mine.

Do they sort and count the bottles themself or does the public have to.

Debbie Phinney | Aug 27, 2019

its best to know how much you have. You need to tray up the cans & glass. In the beginning, i had to do this. I have so much, he has me bag the cans & plastic seperatly and mark on bag how many is in the bag. Glass, i always box up in 24 to a case. Basically, building a relationship will make things easier for you if you intend to do this on a regular basis.

Do you take old electronics

Janice Esile | Aug 27, 2018
Bill Mullen | Aug 27, 2019

No, it's only bottles and cans.
