Most often we see the following three issues that cause the most service calls for our customers. A dirty or plugged filter. This causes air restrictions in your duct system which can lead to freezing indoor coils and loss of cooling production. A plugged condensate drain line. This causes moisture build up inside the indoor system and can leak outside the equipment and onto the floor, or worse, if the system is located in an attic space, down onto the ceiling below. A dirty or plugged outdoor coil. This causes the system to work harder than designed and can cause a loss of cooling production or worse, a failed compressor.
