The trail is moderate and rocky for ~4.4 miles round-trip. It is quite trail with stunning view on top. I went there to see sunset in 32 degree F temperature. Recommend for Fall, I bet it will be a stunning view. Definitely come back again.

I camped here over Father's Day Weekend. It was beautiful. I still can't believe this place is free if you get there first. There are 9 camping spots of various sizes. I stayed in spot #4. There were 2 fire pits and one big bench. Great pad site for a tent, but not for hammocks. The restrooms were clean. Both Men's and Women's are vault style toilets. Didn't smell bad. No flies either. It's just a toilet in the bathroom, no sink. The campground is maintained very well. I'll definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

Awesome hike to a great view! The first .75 of the first mile (of around 2.5 miles) is going around and up the hill on a slight incline but its not that bad. The rest follows the Ridgeline to the connecting mountain top that has a bridge connecting to the rock face for a northern 270 degree view of its valleys and range!

Wonderful hike to the top. Rocky with some steep grades, but not as tough as I had expected the trail to be... especially after doing Old Rag in Shenandoah. I highly recommend wearing hiking boots with ankle support & bring water.
