My family and I were searching for a german shepherd to adopt/rescue and found two on a pet adoption site that were here at the ark of hope. We submitted our application and I called to get a progress report on it a couple days after no response or email confirmation. The lady answered the phone on the first ring and when I asked about the shepherd they had available and told her I put an application in and was willing to adopt both the mother and daughter shepherds that were there she told me that she had a cat dying at the moment and she would call back, I got NO calls back and find it rather strange that she would answer on the first ring only to tell me she had a cat dying. If that were the case why not let the caller leave a message and return the call later? I texted and asked about the dogs and told her we would be willing to adopt both so they weren't separated and that we were very interested, she said she will look over my application and get back to me and it's been MONTHS with ZERO response. We were really looking forward to adopting these two and have the perfect property for them they would have been very well taken care of and best of all, not separated from eachother. We are VERY disappointed in this business. Poor customer service at it's finest and they clearly don't care about finding homes for the animals they rescue.
