Cant give it a zero. Pretty upset that we traveled over 5 hours to come in town for a family event just to find our spot was taken by someone else and the rest of the tent sites were full. There was trash everywhere and dogs off leashes that were fighting.. very displeased. I spent most of my childhood summers at this park. Was told by multiple family members it’s a great place to camp. Just trying to get ahold of a manger regarding our issues is a waste of time because they are never there.

Fun for kids, there's a nice pond near the camping areas for swimming and fishing it also has a playground and the swimming area is roped off from the fishing area. The tent lots are nice as well I have been going here to camp for a while the only issue is on holidays it's packed but that's with any camp site. If I could I would give it a 9.5 out of 10 but the best I can do is five.

Beautiful area. Tent camping sites were easy to get to and we had a wonderful. We were there Easter Sunday . The campground had an egg hunt setup, it was really fun for the kids. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to going back.

We just upgraded to a large 30+ ft camper and wanted to take it out for the wkend. Found this place on RV PARKY. the price per night is with water AND electric. Sites are pretty level. Surrounded by forest. Mostly quiet bc kid activities are mostly down by the office. There is a catch n release pond. There is a swimming area. Can buy wood at the office. The office girls are super friendly. The manager even went above and beyond helping me found things to do with my handicapped dad. The manager even called to see how accessible they were. Now that is someone who cares!! Didnt use showers. Already booked this place again for a wk this time!!

We have sledding in the winter with rentals ranging from $3-$5/hr. On occasion, we get deep enough snowfalls to support cross country skiing or snow shoeing. (No gear rentals available).

I just stayed for 2 nights on a double tent site for $50 total. I believe a single tent site is $18 a night. Holiday weekend are higher per night. They do not charge per person, just by site.

I reserved a tent space for tonight, but we ended up not staying. Is there any way I can get a refund, with the office closed for the night?

Please call the park office during office hours to discuss the situation. As you purchased the site as a walk in, we need more info to understand if this is considered a cancellation or not. Our cancellation policy is that we do not issue refunds, but will credit your account for the amount you paid. That credit may be used towards a new reservation for up to one year.

Is dispersed/ primitive camping available? Is it free?

They rent tent sites. Generally spaces are ~$18/ni for a single tent. They have distinctive loops and assigned spaces like you might expect at a state park. They are quite nice and the park is generally quiet. If you are looking for hike in and pick it a flat piece of ground style camping, you might check out Mason Dixon Historical Park, but they might specify locations now as well.
