This 1 star review is solely directed to a customer service experience I had on Sunday April 10, 2022 at 5:48PM. HomeBuys the store I thoroughly enjoy! I will continue shopping at HomeBuys, just not location on Ridge Avenue. Scenario: I was walking in the automatic doors of HomeBuys at 5:48PM. The cashier that was waiting on a customer turned to the doorway I was walking through and rudely said, "Ma'am we are closing!" I looked at my watch and saw that it read 5:48PM and I also looked at my phone to verify that my watch wasn't running fast. Both my watch and phone read 5:48PM. When I asked if I could come in and pick up a few items, she responded, "NO, Ma'am I said we are closing." I looked at the customers in line which were ~5-6 people. The items that I was coming into the store to purchase were all towards the front of the store and I knew exactly what I wanted. Not that it really mattes as I still had 12 minutes to grab my items and get in line to pay for my purchase. When the store hours read online 6:00PM that is the time that MOST customers believe the store will be closing, not at 5:48PM with other customers still clearly inside the store making their purchases and heading to the check-out line. I understand that most business these days are short staffed, the employees are overworked and underpaid, and for that reason I am a very understanding person. That's the reason why I did not continue my communication with the RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL cashier and returned my cart and proceeded to walk out the door. I hope that HomeBuys takes this review and provides CUSTOMER SERVICE RE-TRAINING to the employees that they do have, as employing rude individuals that are just there to make a paycheck can be extremely detrimental to any company in the long-run. Just a suggestion, from a frequent, loyal customer!

I liked this store. I was able to find some Bengals items at a reasonable price. The women who checked me out was so nice. I will be back!

Good deals around, like on Cereals, maybe on bikes too. There is a little bit of everything, you just go to have time and look around. We found great school lunch bags for the kids
