READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE MOVING HERE. I did not and had a miserable experience. To start out, our carpet was replaced before moving in. Nice, right? Wrong. There were not one, but TWO RAZOR BLADES left on the carpet and outside on the deck from when they tore up and replaced the carpet. There were also nails and excess tufts of carpet left everywhere. Whoever was working on the apartment before we moved in also scratched the door up which we got charged for upon move out. We had broken blinds, hair was painted over in the bedrooms sealing it in, a door that doesn't lock right, dirty filter, ac needed a new battery, dishwasher was broken (if you opened the top of it the whole thing fell out of the wall), mold growing in our bathroom and laundry room (the neighbors complained about this as well), barely any open parking spots and the spaces are extremely tight so everyone parks outside of the lines, people driving the wrong way down the one ways, kids running around in the parking lot playing by the cars, throwing glass by the dumpsters, and grown men constantly fighting in the parking lot. I had to submit a service request EVERY OTHER DAY because the light outside would not work and it would be pitch black in the early morning when I leave for work and late evening when I would get home and I would be tripping up/down the stairs in the dark on top of not being able to see the lock on my door to get in to my apartment. The neighbors are allowed to leave trash and filth on their downstairs patio. These apartments are not good quality and definitely not worth the price they charge especially since they love to increase trash prices, etc. every month. The only good thing I have to say isn't about the apartments it's about the location, being right by the highway and pretty central to a lot of places.

Let me start by saying this is one of the THE WORST PLACES TO LIVE! I know this because I lived here previously and I moved at the first chance I got. Now, my sister lives here and nothing has changed. This place is very VERY expensive for absolutely NO REASON! Don't believe me? Check this out. They are very overpriced for the neighborhood that it's located in. Here, a 820 sqft is $1099 - $1124, 1060 sqft is $1374 and 600 sqft is $1004. At Venture Communities, which is a much more comfortable and friendlier place to live by the way, a 1,450 sqft. is $1795, a 900 sqft is $950 and 550 sqft is $735. I would much rather pay this price for more space, a safe neighborhood, and better peace of mind. Because why? It's worth the price! The Parkton, ran by the Ardizzone Group is a money hungry rip of company, that does not stick to the guidelines they set but charges you for EVERYTHING, because you followed THEIR WRITTEN guidelines in your lease. That, then becomes irrelevant when they verbally make changes they neglect to inform you about. The office staff abuses their power and takes advantages of their residents when it benefits them to do so. They are rude and VERY unprofessional and acts as though they aren't there to DO THEIR JOB when you bring your concerns to them. Don't believe me, look at the very first review I left when they took mover management. NOTHING has changed! Look at other residents reviews as well. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! FYI - To the office staff at The Parkton or Adrizzone Group, please do not respond to this acting as though you are sorry or that you even care! We know you don't. Most of your other responses to reviews are all the same!!

We are in a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath upstairs unit. The only reason we are staying is because we are wanting to buy a house and don't want to deal with the hassle of moving again (rent everywhere is going up too, with little 3 bedroom options available anywhere in the area making us trapped here for another year) before we buy. Upon resigning the lease, they threw in a new $80 a month charge for cable and internet bundle. So we are paying $220 more per month for a place that was already $1280 to begin with (rent was $1219 and then they added trash, water, etc. making the total $1280). We have had no walkway light a majority of the time we have lived here (called weekly to have it fixed, would work a day then be off again) making walking up the stairs at night or early morning very dangerous the steps are already a hazzard to begin with. We have the same nasty filter that they claim they change every 6 months but it's hasn't been changed in the last year we have been here, as dusty as it is here it should be changed every 3 months. They have lost our money orders multiple times and even with going down with the receipts and having them COPIED AND SIGNED they still acted like we were missing payments. In the fall we had our broken dishwasher replaced took a long time for them to get it in they had a lot of excuses lol even that it was on backorder. I will say the maintenance crew are respectful and quick. The apartments have no storage space, insulated poorly, the seal on the front door is letting light shine thru, the fall season came with cockroaches, you can hear and smell anything the neighbor is saying or cooking, the place was dirty wall to ceiling when we moved in too and had a terrible smell after they carpet cleaned prior to us moving in, the bathroom towel holder and toilet paper holder where and are broken since we moved in bc they were drilled into drywall and not studs, the kitchen is so so so small no cabinet space the design could have easily been made smarter to allow an open kitchen and not a small 2x6 feet space, our dining area is carpeted and the breaker kicks off if we use too many electronics in the kitchen. This place was too expensive when we moved here and the fact it increased is bogus. I know the rental market is trash right now and options are limited but this place isn't worth moving to if you can avoid it. Not the worst but definitely not worth the money lost.

First while looking for apartment I was curious why their websites and ads don’t have photos, well now I know, yikes. I scheduled a tour at 1pm, and showed up 10 minutes early. The office was locked, while the lights were on and someone’s things were inside. I called and knocked on the door many times from 12:50 to 1:05 with no response. Clearly there is so since of time management and client service.

We do not accept section 8. However, if you wanted to call during normal business hours, one of our leasing consultants may be able to help you find a nearby property that does. Thanks, The Parkton & The Ardizzone Group
