I'm a Salem resident and I am on a mission to tour all the local Salem attractions. About this one: It's located on the back of a store so you might miss it. There is usually a sign on the sidewalk pointing at the entrance of the store (see picture). What it is: It is basically a room filled with Ouija Boards from different places and different times. There are boards everywhere: on the wall, on shelves, under glass displays... There are some signs telling about the board's history and evolution. I cannot stress this enough: this place is SMALL. You enter and then that's it. PROs You can tell that this place was created by someone with a genuine passion for Ouija Boards and the patience of a collector. I liked how the place was furnished and loved the seance nook. Staff is very knowledgeable and when I was there the people at the ticket window would periodically come inside the museum to answer questions or explain things. Photography is allowed and the seance corner is very Instagrammable 😊(it's the type of picture your friends will expect to see on your page if you visit Salem 😊) Tickets are very inexpensive CONs You guessed right: it's super tiny 😊 Also, I was surprised that there were very little merchandise about Ouija board available (at least when I visited) - the front of the store is basically an Harry Potter shop.

What a treat this was! Bumped into John outside the witch house and told us to stop by his shop the next day for a Ouija tour. We did just that. A small $10 entry fee for what we thought was the best tour in Salem and definitely the only one you can take photos in🖤 Put this on the top of your must stops.

If you are in Salem this is a must see! By far the best experience my wife and I have had. I want to personally thank John for making the experience so incredible. The amount of knowledge he was willing to share was top notch and I learned so much more about the history of Witch Boards than I thought I would. An added bonus was being able to take photographs in the museum, which you will quickly learn is typically not allowed at multiple Museums around Salem. They also have Witch Boards for sale as well. My advice to anyone going in, look for John and pick his brain about the boards, it'll make your experience that much more amazing.

One of the only, if not only museum that lets you take pictures which was cool! It is small, however the owner? I think, the guide had so many cool facts about everything. The staff was amazing in general, but I really enjoyed this. It’s only $10 and maybe 15-30 minutes of looking. Definitely add this to your itinerary if you’re in Salem!

Hi, yes we take unwanted or troublesome boards. You can either drop it off or mail it to the museum. Thanks so much!
Tickets are not necessary. Just need to show up in person.
