We have been taking our kids (4) to Primrose in Lakewood Ranch for nearly 9 years and counting. We knew this was the right place just a few minutes in to our initial tour. The place is ran very well, the management team is amazing and they do an incredible job recruiting and retaining the most talented and caring teachers and staff. Every single morning that we have dropped our kids off we have had no doubt that they are in the absolute safest and best place to learn and grow every day. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Primrose School in Lakewood Ranch!

Primrose LWR has been taking care of our youngest from age 18 mos to now 5 years... we've always been treated with respect and the staff are amazing at setting our minds at ease when we needed it the most with pictures, notes, calls, etc. They communicate well with not only us as parents, but also our son. He's ready for 'big boy' school not only education-wise, but also emotionally, and Primrose has played a large part in preparing us all for the next big school adventure.

A college of mine referred me to Primrose after a job transfer brought me to Florida. My husband only joined us a year after we arrived, so being alone with Simona, with a new job, in a new country; I was flooded with emotions of excitement & fear, while also coping with feelings of guilt and worry for taking Simona away from family and all that was familiar to her. Primrose was an absolute godsend! Mrs Frank, Ms Forrester & Ms Wudte were very supportive and made sure Simona got the extra attention and was well taken care of. They called with daily updates on how she was doing throughout the day and ensured my mind was at ease knowing she was doing great! That was almost 3 years ago and Simona will be graduating from VPK at Primrose this coming month. Simona loves Primrose and is sad to leave. I could not say enough good things about the school, the support staff, the teachers, the school culture, the curriculum, all of it! Thank you for being so wonderful and for helping us raise a really great little girl! We are going to miss you!

The teachers and staff are amazing ! My son was at 2 schools before the age of 1 nothing ever seemed like the right fit. When he started at Primrose School in Lakewood Ranch it was an instant feeing of comfort and safety from the start. I was no longer thinking about him all day and worrying because I knew he was in good hands. I finally had peace of mind which has truly been a blessing. The education program is outstanding and the structure it provides my son has been great! Primrose in Lakewood Ranch is an AMAZING place for a child to grow and learn.

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
Yes, our school has a kindergarten program that utilizes our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten, elementary school, and beyond. Small group lessons offer greater individual attention and our extended hours help support working parents with all-day care.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
