This was a beautiful experience for my daughter and me. The tea and food were delicious, although I would have preferred more savory options. There were many sweets on the trays. The ambiance can't be beat!

This was an exceptional experience and hope to do this every time I visit Boston. As a book lover the menu ticked into books was an exceptional touch. Of course given this place is located at the beautiful Boston public library it makes sense. The food was more filling than expected and was very tasty!

What a great treat! We enjoyed their “holiday tea” and were blown away by the experience. All of their food was excellent and I appreciated that we could order as many pots of tea as we wanted. I would definitely reserve another tea experience here the next time I come to Boston. It’s also nice that they’re located in Boston Public Library so you can walk around the library after tea.

Had to make reservations about 3 months in advance for Saturday 1 PM. Great time. Definitely get some extras for this occasion, like Kentucky derby hat and gloves just to fun to go all in, like we did. Everyone around us was so jealous of our hats and gloves, they said they wish they thought of it too! On Amazon, cheap, just buy in advance. Search for Kentucky derby OR cocktail tea party headwear. See photos :). Library is beautiful too so walk around and see it.

I'm pretty sure it's just inside. They had outside tables but the formal tea is just inside I believe.
Afternoon tea, served in Courtyard and the Map room, & note that a seasonal Holiday tea is coming..for pricing check with reservations.
Just the inside restaurant
Yes, there is a whole menu of teas for you to choose from!
No and I took my child
I don't have that answer. But I would call and ask the Courtyard for a solid answer. Good luck!! 😊
Some are sold on site. Others come.from local stores. The hostess can help you find out where to buy them if what you want is not sold at the restaurant
It is an option in the kids tea menu if tea is not preferred.
I had mot seen it. maybe not.
My friend and I dressed like you would to go to a nice restaurant with your grandmother. Nice but not formal. That was how most people were dressed. A very few were dressed more and less formally. Those dressed less formally were definitely tourists.
Yes. Reservations are required and may fill up. So I would say make one sooner rather than later
