Located in an old jail and inside a hotel, Clink is a chic restaurant in the city. I came here with a friend on a work trip, and enjoyed the decor, ambiance and food. We shared the meats and cheese platter, and we both each had the meat bolognese pasta dish. Lots of food - we are both stuffed but there was still lots left. Portions were very generous and flavours were rich. They lost one star for service. Our server was a nice older man and was attentive, but supporting staff forgot my water after taking it away when he filled it with flat rather than sparkling accidentally. They also ran out (is this even possible in a restaurant?!) of hot sauce and gave us Frank's - not good even they are suppose to be on the higher end of dining options in the city. We were too full to try dessert so I can't comment. Overall, it was a decent experience taken altogether. Their dishes weren't spectacular but reliable.

While the allure of the location may seem exciting, be sure to review the menu and plan your parking before arriving. There are particularly limited options for those who are vegetarian or vegan. That being said, while the menu is seemingly very limited, our waiter said they could make whatever we wanted - so we all ordered things from off the menu & it turned out great. The fries are just okay. They also don’t have lettuce, so the burgers came with arugula. The service is 5-star, the limited menu is just something to make note of.

Delicious, ingredient driven modern food. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned—a crispy, salty exterior and a tender, moist interior that fell apart with a fork. The service was friendly but professional and suited the atmosphere and elegance to a T. Exceptional space!

Just recently had brunch here and I had the chicken thigh sandwich and the other diner had the burger. Both were expertly seasoned and the presentation and plating were perfection. Our entrees were followed by a passion fruit creme brûlée. The dessert was absolutely delicious- light, and a perfect blend of flavors and plated beautifully The ambience was inventive and a blend of contemporary, steam punk and extravagant beauty and attention to detail. You must experience it. The wait between the entree and the dessert was quite a long time, but since we were on vacation and weren’t rushed , we just enjoyed the dining experience.
