Stopped here while passing through on a road trip. The store was clean in appearance and our waitress (cant remember her name) was pretty awesome except when i ordered the menu said my dish came with 2 breakfast sides. So i wanted the dumplings and some grits, the waitress completely refused to let me order them, she said it came with apples and hashbrown casserole, not what the menu stated as i took it as i got to choose. I then asked if i could substitute the sides i wanted instead for an extra charge. Her response was "no"

One of my favorite places in Cold Spring to get breakfast. Food is usually good, comes quickly, and meets expectations for classic, southern breakfast. Breakfast sandwich is really good for the price. Service is usually good- Troy is the best waiter in my opinion. I will say the bacon is very inconsistent. Sometimes great. Sometimes almost raw. Sometimes too crunchy. If they were more consistent on this, it would probably be 5 stars.

Ordered chicken and dumplings and it was a soup. It drowned my sides and made my Mac n cheese noodles from taking the cheese off. The waiter said that’s how they did it but I worked at a cracker before and we did not serve it as soup.

I normally love their breakfast. I'm very disappointed in my french toast order, though. Four slices but one of them is literally the end? That is NOT an acceptable slice.
