I would score them less than zero if I could. I have never been treated so poorly, or so rudely in my life. Except for one woman, really, they were quite mean and snotty. I found a cat I wanted to see and arrived 45 minutes early, before opening time, with my application already filled out. Unfortunately, I followed their signs stating that we were supposed to stay in our cars. Three women came and blockaded the front door to block anyone from coming in, they wanted the same cat. They raced to the counter when the door opened and shoved their applications at the worker, who then refused to take mine from my outstretched hand. The workers said I hadn't held the cat yet so I had no chance of adopting it. Really, how can you hold one if they refuse to show it to you? Then they proceeded to take the applications of everyone who was behind me. I was there probably another 45 minutes, trying to meet a cat, but no one would help me. I left without even the chance of adopting anything. The whole thing was a very upsetting experience. I'll never go back. I recommend people go elsewhere. If they treat people this poorly, imagine how poorly they treat the animals.

Honey Bear will miss the lovely staff at SoHumane, but as you can see she immediately stole my window porg and was relaxing on her way home. SoHumane is a great animal shelter. Honey Bear knows several commands thanks to the training they did with her. This was a great experience and I'm thankful they took such great care of her until she found her forever home.

What a great event. We met some really nice people in line. The workers and volunteers were so helpful. We now are the proud parents of Destiny. Thank you so very much for everything you all do for these critters. Our little girl is the best.

Adopted a couple of kittens from them and though it has hardly been a week they have become pretty friendly and playfull with each other. Luna the calico, is super friendly and will take most opportunities of claiming a spot on your lap. Patches the brown and white tabby was a bit on the slower side taking her time but couldn't help but come out and play on her second night. Patches loves getting her pets and attention as long as it currently doesn't evolve being picked up and held (we are slowly working on this, it will take some time) she does really well. This in a way can be expected since we got out, playing and being social sooner than I expected she still needs time to work up to other things like being held. She will still hide under my bed in the bedroom and behind the couch while in the living room due to these still being new areas for her I'm sure with sone time and help from her friend Luna she will get more comfortable as time goes on. So far they both seem to be adjusting to their forever home fairly well.

I don't think so, but southern Oregon Humane society will take any kind of doggies. They have so much love for all the dogs that come through their doors. Judy is absolutely amazing, she runs and organizes the whole place.
Just give them a call
I agree that adoption fees are absolutely necessary..the amounts have gotten ridiculous though. This is why people buy puppies from shops and private sellers. A 200 adoption fee is daunting. That is certainly outrageous and I want a dog, willing to travel and do the trial thing as well. But I can't afford the fee. Another dog, after another dog, stays in the shelter, so the shelter has more costs, so they have to charge more for adoption. Viscous circle
Although they may not be able to use your brand of dog food, it is very thoughtful of you to offer. Being compassionate is worth more than any amount of money. God bless you Estevan Navarro.
Try SoHumane, in Medford.
Tim I don't know ... give them a call, they should be open!
I don't think SOHS takes snakes
You can access a list on the S O Humane website. They always need grain free food for the animals. Collars & harnesses of various sizes too. Thank you for thinking of SO Humane. They are awesome....or should I say...."pawsome"!
Animals are chipped upon adoption is part of the adoption fee no animal leaves are facility without a chip and spayed and neutered
From my understanding they are not taking any puppies or dogs right now because they are filled up.
Dog adoption fees vary, starting at $225.00
I'm sorry for your loss. I always have taken my animals to the place on 1st st in Phoenix Oregon. I'm not 100% sure but I think most vets use them they do an excellent job and it's a lot less expensive if you take your pet there yourself. You can choose private cremation and the ashes return to you and I believe the urns are only $25 so it's pretty inexpensive. Or if you don't want the ashes back you can just tell them that you just want a community cremation. If you just go south on 99 and turn right on 1st Street take it all the way up to C Street, and make a left they'll be a steel building on your right hand side and they are at the end of that big steel building. You can't miss it because it has animals painted all over it. Again I'm sorry for your loss and they are really quick usually have your animal done in a few hours
Look into Rescue Remedy also. Don't have details for cats.
I have no idea, sorry.
They can use them
Short answer: No. If you try to give them the dog, they very likely will tell you to take it to the animal shelter. If you leave the dog in a crate outside of the building to be found by staff, they will immediately call the animal shelter and transfer custody of the dog
60$ surrending fee the jcas untenizes dogs and humane society does not
I can try to stay in touch, we go volunteer on Sundays .
No. But they have special adoption events for the holidays.

Im almost certain its illegal
Not sure you can try cat's they might help
I dont know any kitten shampoo for any under the age of 12 weeks but my Vet told me to use Dawn dish soap just keep out of eyes, ears, mouth & nose. Good luck.
I don't think they make dog masks available to the public. My best suggestion would be to ask the Army Navy store. I would like to see the dog that would keep it on! Seriously though i know what you mean we aren't taking our dogs for walks because of the smoke!
You can call them and they'll be happy to tell you all about their programs. It's a wonderful place to donate your time! Good luck :)
Um if they are Aboted they have a home scrend bye someone to love them
