To Wendy Raymond , your absolutely correct ! The staff is RUDEI !!! public Storage on 54 does not care about there customers at All !! They will fine you as quick as they can but there elevators don’t work correctly and they blame you for it . The place is a joke and so unprofessional or Pleasant. I have to say that when I first rented my unit I had no problem at Public Storage I was getting my items out of my car and a plastic bag and 1 piece of paper fell out of my car. I was so busy attending to my items to bring up to the unit that I was planning on collecting the plastic bag and paper after I was done with emptying my car. There were 2 men next to me emptying there trucks to bring them to there units when this unbelievable horrific incident happened. The Blonde Public storage worker proceeded to come to me and ask me to pick my 3 items of trash on the ground next to my car. I proceeded to tell her that I will do so after I finish emptying my car. I was in a moving mode . Well, all of a sudden, she proceeded screaming at me and telling me.. well , I am not picking up your trash lady. PICK UP YOUR TRASH!!! I told her not to speak to me in this rude manner as I pay your salary. You have absolutely no customer service skills!! I told her that I will call corporate and report you. She told me .. “ go right ahead lady .. I DONT CARE !! So I did and filed a complaint Against at her I repeated again and told her I will do so when I am done with what I was doing !! The two men were watching this horrific incident. Needless to say I was absolutely embarrassed at the rude way she spoke to me in front of these men. I had Public Storage in Boston years ago and I never experienced anything like this whatsoever. I immediately cancelled my 2 units and happily moved to U HALL ON 19. I will never recommend PUBLIC STORAGE TO ANYONE. I have the same side unit that I had at Public Storage and I pay about $20 less .

Been using Public storage for a month only because is was about $10 cheaper then anywhere else.. First the blue tooth system to open gate and elevator works about 2 out of every 10 uses. Next everything runs slow. I get the gate can't be but waiting 4. 5 min for an elevator that only goes two floors is extremely annoying. Lastly I get a call every month saying my auto pay did not work and my card did not go through. That if I don't pay I will incur a late fee. I immediately called the card company that says they see the transaction but was cancelled on their end... Huh? So I pay with different card. Every month I get this call and tell them there is something wrong on their end. Only thing I get told is about the late fee... Ah okay so you don't care got it. So I keep the card on auto pay to waste their time every month calling me. Then I go into the app and use the card their "auto pay" wouldn't take and pay with it. Hope this helps anyone thinking about using them. Their staff is a joke but it works for what you need I guess.

Nice and clean location but Public Storage Company does not care about costumers. After 6 months the company raised mothy rental more than half of original price. Nobody could do anything about the 50 % higher price . I had to cancel my rental and nobody was trying to stop me from terminating my agreement, nobody offered any deal just pay or leave TERRIBLE

Yes they do have space to store a 16 foot kayak.
They are open on Saturdays and should be able to give you a quote.
