Pros: Beautiful hotel Good location Clean, nice rooms Staff very friendly Bikes and other fun amenities Beach club- some may view this as a con because the hotel isn’t on the beach but it was really nice. There’s a huge pool with service as well as shaded loungers in the beach. They give you complementary ice cold water and towels, there’s a few choices to eat as well as lockers to wash off. It’s actually pretty amazing. They have shuttles every hour to take you there. Cons: The club level could have a little better food in terms of selection (it may be worth it if you value convenience) No fridge in the room If you have a baby or toddler that sleeps in the crib you may be better off bringing your own. The crib they had was really small, and metal. My son didn’t sleep well in it.

Let me start by saying the customer service was FANTASTIC. RACHEL at the front desk is just sheer class. She goes above the call to make your stay the best it can be. BRUCE, TODD, JOE AND PHIL you are 5 star and an example of what valet is all about. If I missed some names I am truly sorry because you all were the bomb! The hotel is very clear that this property is NOT on the beach. It is on the water. I highly recommend upgrading to the marina view if you can. The view is stunning especially at night. Beautiful pool and hot tub at the property. Jack Dusty had AMAZING food and a great bar. Let me also say, if you are looking for a full on kids club with loads of activities please go to Orlando. They do have a game room with some fun stuff and of course the beaches. Downtown is also fun as well. Let me break down the beach situation. There is a shuttle at the top of the hour that goes right to the beach club. Feel free to take an Uber or your own vehicle if you have it. It is literally a ten minute drive and a pretty one as well. Free valet if you are staying at the hotel. TATUM JESSIE AND DAVID G at the beach club, you are simply the best. Always making sure drinks and food kept coming. Beautiful pool and great hot tub at the club. Also a great restaurant. Rooms were clean and bathroom was beautiful. Lots to do around the area as well. I recommend the river cruise at Marina Jack across the street. So fun! Hope this review finds you well!

I was jaundiced husk of a human before my stay at this hotel. They define luxury and have throughly spoiled me from all other hotels. The staff go out of their way to make me feel like the king they created me to be. The beach club is full of high quality guests, members and residents, the pool is perfect as is the beach. I do recommend you splurge for club floor access. It has incredible food breakfast, lunch and dinner. Incredible cappuccino, lots of newspapers, and a great view. I highly recommend this stay to anyone who can afford it. It’s the best hotel in the best spot in Florida.

The property was clean, although rooms were extremely underwhelming for the price. Im writing this so others don't expect too much, this is not a 5-star property. We went to the exclusive beach club for dinner at 7:30, it was recommended by the front desk, it was a short shuttle ride away. The food was just OK at best and we saw a rat run across the outdoor area we were sitting in, and it felt abandoned, not sure why the recommendation by the front desk. I did not see the service to match the prices. In a chance to salvage the evening, we decided to go back to the main hotel restaurant for desserts and drinks, the service there was great and the desserts were also excellent. We decided to try the breakfast the next morning and when we arrived we were told that there was no available seating outside, even though there were several tables visually open, the host was edgy and not friendly or accommodating. I even took a photo to prove there were several tables available. In the time we had breakfast and left they all remained vacant the entire time. I found it just strange that they would refuse to accommodate a hotel guest. We only had one night but honestly, one night was enough, we were hoping for the 5 STAR Ritz Carlton experience but honestly, it was nothing close.

I was just there last weekend. They have no shuttle service to-from TPA. I used uber, $80 from airport, $100 on the return. Also, we found the property dated especially the rooms. I would go elsewhere next time.
Odd question but I am sure you can get and pay for a room with cash or credit card. you will have to have a credit card to put down for incidentals.
I believe it is $150.00. Dogs under 40 pounds only I believe.
If you stay at Ritz Carlton hotel, you get free access to Ritz Carlton resort and beach club where you have access to pool and private access to the beach.
You have to request it in advance and it's based in availability. You can have better chances if your a gold member of Bonvoy or Amex Platinum through their fine hotel and resorts program etc.
Yes, in the main restaurant at 2-4 they have an afternoon tea service with wonderful array of cookies and biscuits.
This is definitely not the way to go about it, asking a local guide. Just saying and good luck. If you have a valid DL, I'm hiring here downtown Sarasota.
i am not aware nor did i see a currency exchwnge, however, the front desk will usually exchange some currency as a courtesy.
No smoking, although if you buy a residence you might be able to. Massages are a definite yes
