I've taken several of my vintage Japanese bikes to Ernie, I'm more of a Harley guy, Ernie really knows what he's doing and is very prompt I would advise him to anybody, five stars for him

After paying $1400 and 3 trips to his shop for my Yamaha ATV my bike still wouldn’t start I was reassured that my bike had good compression…. Days later I was told by his coworker my bike needed a whole new top and rebuild😒

Final cost more than estimate. Left air in brake system, spongey feel. Installed junk quality tire, out of round. Not balance correctly bounce and shake at low speed, vibrate at high speed. It was painfully obvious a rush job. Took it back and was argued with, pointing out several things 'bad' that were already replaced. Maybe this guy was among the best at some point in the past. However, not in my experience recently. I work in a machine shop and offered to put the rim on a shaft with an indicator to show him how bad the tire was out of round, spin it around and show him how bad it was out of balance. Moral of the story is next time I will just take time off work and do it myself. I don't feel this place is trustworthy. I took the wheel / tire off the bike. Went back to ernie and ask that he check it on the machine to see for himself that it's bad. I brought with me a new replacement better quality tire to have put on instead of the junk one. Ernie proceeded to make fun of me by saying 'you take the wheel off the bike and bring to me, what are you wanting a job working on bikes?' he then asks me to repeat myself multiple times pretending that he doesn't understand what I'm saying. Then he says you need me I don't need you. He took the wheel from me and literally threw it out his front door then said, have a good day. I asked can I have someone remove the junk tire to bring it back and return it. He said no, you are not my customer, you can not bring things back and complain, you can go downtown to the court if you don't like it. So that's my story and the experience I had with ernie. I have since found a very down to earth knowledge guy named Pedro at wonderer cycle and will be taking my bikes to him instead.

These questions are best asked directly to the shop. Or G.I.Y.F. (Google is your friend)
