I really enjoy going there. A coworker suggested I check it out. Needless to say, it was worth it. While I highly recommend having a bike, it’s still cool to walk the trails on foot. It’s amazing how much the landscape changes in some areas. Sometimes it’s a jungle, other times it’s almost like a savannah. If you’re looking for a huge park, this’s for you. It’s a shame they don’t have basketball courts, though.

A well hidden gem. Wide open space . A beautiful lake as you drive in on the right hand side. There is also a dog park here .

Bartow parks & recreation, they will direct you to the dept. that does the rental. Between 70 to 90 It is well worth it, spent more on table and chair rental at home. Definitely booking for next yr!

Yes there are pavilions but you have to reserve them ahead of time
Not anymore, used to be able to but too many people got hurt/killed.
Yes!! If you want to rent the pavilion but I was there over the wkend and a family was having a b.d. on the back side of the playground by the bridge, it was a perfect lil spot for a small gathering without the fee.
Ya but all the good spots out there have been blocked off. If you're trying out a new set of tires or 4x4 there's a ton of sugar sand or after some good rain there's a few bogged out spots on the west side past the dog park.
Yes, most pits are open. The gate has been closed to the back ones. May can only walk to those
