We looked at several places that would be a good fit for Mom. Arbor Oaks was the perfect choice! It's a is a beautiful facility with manicured grounds and is very clean and pleasant inside. Kelly and her staff are very attentive and always communicate any issues that arise as well as address any concerns we have. There always seems to be fun activities going on that keep the residents engaged and entertained. The three ladies that work the front desk are fantastic and always take care of any questions you have or will connect you with the person you need to talk to.

Mom has been at Arbor Oaks memory unit for 2.5 yrs. She has been stable and even w/ brittle diabetes has had good care avoiding any hospitalizations. Communication between staff and our family has been great. Regular emails from the director during the COVID pandemic keeps all families updated on the facilities resident and staff status which is very appreciated!

My grandmother lives here. It took us a while to find somewhere that she could be call home. We love all of the staff-they are personal and caring. From the activities coordinator to the caregivers, dining team and maintenance, are caring, know her, and are looking out for her. In talking with them, many have been there for decades . The Director and nursing team ensure she has everything she needs, facilitates her appointments. We feel that every person there knows her and understands her needs. It’s nestled quietly in a corner of Tyrone that I didn’t expect it to be and has a calming plantation style feel. We get to visit for dinner and sit with her at a special table, where we got to see that the food is good and they modified it so she could have a meal that met her needs and we enjoyed ours. I love the doctor that comes to visit and the visiting nursing and therapy teams combine with the facility to make this the best experience for my grandmother. I can’t say enough good things about it.

Arbor Oaks at Tyrone provides a living option for each of our senior residents, including assisted living, memory care, respite care, and adult day care services. Rhonda - We do have a couple of residents with Parkinson's and the process for acceptance depends on the level of care required, as determined by Physician and Administrator.
