Again....I am currently as I write this on hold 1hr and 1 min and counting just to talk to someone. No one ever answers. When I finally get appointment with Dr and my son does the zoom appointment which I hate. I call office right away to get next month appointment set up and it takes a month just to get anyone to answer. So fed up with this place.

My Prescription Therapist went on Maternity leave months ago. I had taken FMLA papers to the site to be filled out just in case I ran into problems. I had been doing better while on my medication. However, I was sent home in April, due to a Major Anxiety attack. Now I have been off since last week. Due to being out of my medication. I wake up mad at the world. No one has done anything to me. Wake up with panic attacks. I have been calling, I even spoke to my counselor about my medication. She said she would put in a request for a refill. So I have missed 5 days of work. And my forms aren't filled out. So this may cause me to lose my job. Not really happy with them at this time.

I’ve been a patient for almost 9 months and this place literally saved me. I was suffering severe post partum depression along with other issues. They were so compassionate and did not judge me whatsoever for the way I felt. The receptionists all are really nice. I see NP Alicia and she goes above and beyond to make sure I am okay and even let’s me vent out everything that’s going on in my life. Even the medical records department are amazing! They did a huge favor for me when I was on maternity leave. Some of the staff even remember me when I first came in. The only complaint I have is no one bothered to tell me my therapist left the practice. And my outpatient therapies were cancelled and I wasn’t notified until the day of my appointment that I showed up. Thankfully they scheduled me with someone new. Thank you guys for helping me. It’s a long road I’m facing to cope with things going on in my life but thank you guys for caring!

Hi Rebecca, thank you for the question. During the intake appointment, the therapist will gather information regarding client history and work with the client to develop a treatment plan. After intake, there are a variety of things that can happen depending on the treatment plan and therapist recommendations. Most clients will then be scheduled for ongoing therapy sessions or they may be referred for psychiatric evaluation or other Peace River Center services. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi Paola, our outpatient therapists see youth from birth to 18 (as well as adults). Most therapists see both children and adults; however, some do specialize in challenges pertaining to children such as bullying. Currently, everyone is receiving services via telehealth. If you have more specific questions please reach out to our Registration Team, 863.248.3311. If you intended to ask this question about our Crisis Stabilization Units, yes they have a youth side, separate from the adult side. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Monique, sorry for your long wait. Our Outpatient Offices see and correspond with a high volume of clients daily.
