Hello everyone! I am a volunteer at Day star! The food pantry is open on Thursday’s from 9-1 and no one is turned away! The thrift store is also open Thursday (buy one get one), fridays, and Saturday’s. Since the pandemic things have been slow and we are trying to provide for our wonderful community and those in need! Yes. Hernando county residents. Need to bring in Driver's license or ID, all social security cards for all members of your household, and proof of residence. They are open 9-1 Tuesday and Thursday. Can get food every 60 days.
Call them during the hours that they are open and ask them to come pick it up I know they have a van if they still won't come get it then call habitat for humanity because they will come and get it and they donate to the dawn center , and help people get back on there feet after leaving a domestic situation
