I adopted a kitten named Martha on July 31, 2022. I drove from Coconut Creek to St. Augustine because the ad said she was a Turkish Angora which it appears she is not. She's not a disappointment at all! This kitten was not in the shelter as she was in foster care with a family who taught her how to be a real pet. Martha is a sweet, happy kitten. We do have a small health problem but it's a common problem in kittens and I admire the rescue work Wags & Whiskers Pet Rescue is doing. This kitten was fully vaccinated and spayed when I got her. Well worth the adoption fee as I'd have paid nearly the same amount to a vet for these services. Today Kit called me from the pet rescue to follow up and Mindy had called me 2 weeks ago to follow up as well. This rescue actually cares about the pets they rescue and I would recommend them for adoption of a pet.

They do a wonderful job rescuing cats and dogs and finding them their happily ever after homes. We adore our kitty a Russian Blue that we got from them.

I recently adopted my male cat Todd. They were all very helpful during the adoption process and worked with me to make sure all of his stuff was up to date since he wasn't meeting his weight requirement for his neuter, no problems now with his eating. I enjoyed their care so much my brother went and adopted a female kitten from them as well. She's a spunky girl and full of love.

We are so blessed to find Lisa and Wags & Whiskers of St Augustine! We adopted 2 of the sweetest kittens you can imagine just a month ago today. We were only looking for one but knowing siblings were together made it tough - plus they were all so sweet we could not decide on just one. We are so glad we adopted 2 and found that 2 are even better! Lisa could not be more wonderful to all the animals and to folks looking to adopt - thank you for everything Lisa!!! The care and love they gave our babies at such a young age made them the most loving kitties I have ever had. They literally let us hold them upside down, rub their bellies, clip their nails, massage their paws and smother them with kisses. They never hide like most cats and instead they are always on the search for love and a lap to fall asleep on. They bring us and our Golden Retriever so much joy and oh so fun to watch play! Thank you again to Lisa and Wags and Whiskers for all you do in the community, your genuine love for animals and for saving so many precious fur babies! Lisa and Don, Zebs, Cowboy and Ruger:)

Hi Betty, We have all kinds of cats and kitten for adoption. We are actually in the beginning of kitten season so we will be getting alot more in. We also have dogs and puppies for adoption as well.
I know they take donations of food and beds. Not sure about the other items but you can ask them. Sorry for your loss.
I don't think so they are a no kill shelter for animal adoption (unless things have changed lately)
I adopted my Teddy from them about 8 weeks ago. He was just 8 weeks at the time
They have some at times. I adopted one about a month ago. The process was really easy. Call them or just go by there. Lisa was very helpful.
