Thanks for your question, Steiner LB. Withdrawal from Tramadol can definitely be difficult, painful, and even dangerous--so should be approached cautiously. If you're going to wean down, that process would need to be done very slowly over weeks or months. As an alternative, our Accelerated Outpatient Detox has worked well for many patients using even higher doses of Tramadol than the ones you mention here.
