Attorney Robert Bowen saved my life. He had less than a week to prepare for a hearing where the state was attempting to Parker hold me in custody on a case that I had completed diversion for and is four years old in front of a judge who admittedly revokes everyone’s bond. He listened and believed me when I told him I completed diversion and thought the case was closed. When he presented that to the judge thankfully she took the time to look and confirmed my diversion was complete in 2020 and denied the state’s motion to put me in jail! We shouldn’t be writing bad reviews for the public defender, we should be fighting the blind injustice of the state attorneys office. If not for Mr Bowen I would have gone to jail and lost everything for what? We should be asking what would compel the state attorney to even file the motion. They tried to put me in jail without even checking their own facts. We all need to get on the side of public defenders and make the state attorney answer for their actions, not the other way around. These public servants are treated as poorly as the citizens they represent when they are in fact the real heroes of our justice system.

You will LOSE your case and end up in prison or hefty probation dealing with this office. They don't argue your case, phone calls, updates. They don't listen to your concerns. Aside the young receptionist, the rest are rude, miserable face and disrespectful. Mind you, they're supposed to be actually facilitating services for you. They just go along with the States recommendations without argument. HIRE YOURSELF A ATTORNEY

Their office is a joke. I have spent 2 weeks trying to get a hold of my brother attorney. I waist more time actually talking to the secretary than waiting for Someone to answer the dam phone.

Answering their phone a little more promptly would definitely be nice but once I contacted a girl in the office she was quite polite and helpful with my issue she told me who my TD was and took my information to contact me back so that she could relay it to my PD now I can only wait and I have patience yes they do work with the Courthouse and everyone in it but they are bound by oath to represent you in the best manner they see possible remember when speaking to them people respond to compliments an acknowledgement and their situation much more than they do criticism and disregard hope this helps have a nice day

You may only baker act when specific elements are met the person must actively be a danger to themselves or others. Police ask 6 questions to determine if you are suicidal or homicidal. If you answer the questions clearly or not doesn't matter you must show or verbalize intent to injure yourself or others propert damage is not enough if you are clear of mind to indicate you do not intend physical any harm.
The court will assign him one when he goes to see the judge while he is in jail. You can call one of the public defender offices and inquire. It is Ita Neymotin 813-221-5134. Hope this helps.
Yes, go to the building directly across the street on the same side the courthouse is on. Go to the 5th floor and that's the Public Defender office.
You call them and wait patiently while they're attending other clients and you ask and you will be told if they're not there leave good contact information and your PD will get in touch with you as soon as possible I know sometimes we think we're there only client unfortunately we're not they are actually quite packed with clients and finding time for each client is a job in itself so have patience stay on the line and you will get your answer hope this helps
