Absolutely beautiful real log cabin! It was the cutest place with beautiful decor! Everything was perfect from start to finish! You need nothing but towels and your own food. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and grilling on the charcoal grill! We built a nice small fire on our private fire pit. Wood is provided for a donation. We loved our anniversary weekend and didn’t want to leave!! There is a beautiful female cat so friendly and loves scratches! Her name is zeke and she is wonderful company while relaxing on the beautiful porch! We stayed in the Richmond cabin and highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Richmond cabin this past weekend. We planned a romantic getaway and was also in need of a relaxing reset.l The area is beautiful surpassed by the beauty of the cabin! It is a genuine cabin, gorgeous wood inside and out. Very clean and set with beautiful decor. Lori obviously has excellent taste in decor and takes great care in her choices of furniture and stocking the kitchen with all of the necessary items. Our bed was very comfortable and provide good night's sleep. I corresponded with Lori via email and phone calls a few times prior to the visit, she responded to emails promptly and professionally. Speaking with her on the phone she was very accommodating and helpful. We took a wrong turn and she was glad to walk us through it. Afterwards she sent an email to us thanking us for leaving the cabin in such a great shape! We highly recommend the cabins, we will definitely be returning!

The cabin and boat rental exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Birmingham cabin. It is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked. I was able to make a large breakfast for my family. My husband used the grill and was happy they had all utensils set out nicely to grill. The hot tub was clean and hot for us on arrival. The fire pit area was nice and safe for kids to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. The 2 rocking chairs on the wrap around porch were the perfect touch and the patio furniture was nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. They'll go out of their way to be helpful and give you privacy. I highly recommend Timberline Cabins. We will be back and hope to include horseback riding on our next trip.

there is a full grocery store just a few miles away - Riesbecks. A bit further is a Super Walmart.....
Hi Brenda - we have three out of seven cabins that are pet friendly (the Richmond, Wilmington & Huntington). We do ask that folks cover the couches & beds if they have pets that are allowed on furniture. And....dogs must be kept on a leash. Lori

Salt Fork Lake is 3/4 mile from the cabins. the entrance to the park is another mile away. Inside the 22,000 acre park is the beach & further back is the pool area, approx 7 miles from your cabin.
Yes Jim - we have 4 out of 8 cabins that are pet friendly. Thank you for considering Timberline! You will find our Timbers Log Cabins to be very clean, nicely decorated & well equipped. Hot tub, grill, bonfire.....they are decorated in a southwestern theme. Hope to see you soon! Lori
