This place is so unprofessional and unorganized, avoid at all costs. Unfortunately I've been going here for about a year and a half but today when they cancelled my appointment that had been confirmed multiple times I'm done. I should have never gone back after they caused my dog Zelda to be incontinent after spay surgery. I was never warned of the risk that getting a dog spayed could lead to incontinence. Now she leaks urine everyday. I was supposed to have an appointment today to get her treated for that but the vet decided she wants to start her weekend early and cancelled all her appointments in the afternoon. This place sucks. They can't even manage to answer the phones, they always put you on hold. A couple weeks ago I left a voice-mail during opening hrs on a Sunday and after a week I still didn't hear back from them. There are many other vets nearby, don't trust this place with your loved one, they don't deserve a penny of your hard earned money.

We've worked with multiple vets here, and every one has been kind, attentive and thorough with my puppy.

I took my cat there 04/05 for a check up and estimate for dental cleaning. They were prompt, professional, courteous, and everything was clearly explained. Because my cat will be having a dental cleaning under anesthesia, she needed bloodwork in advance. They did the bloodwork at this visit. Her doctor, Doctor Renfro, called with the results a few days later, at 8pm! I couldn't believe she was still working that late!! We really like our new doctor and vet practice and look forward to a long relationship.

***Experience during Covid-19 pandemic: my boy pups has a lot of health issues. He needs daily allergy injections and we come here several times a year and even during the pandemic it has been a great experience. Due to the pandemic we are no longer allowed inside but we park and call the office. The nice vet technician will come out and pick up your pup and take them inside. Dr. Pluskat does an examination and give you a call and thoroughly explains issues and addresses all concerns we may have. Dr. Pluskat is the absolute best!! WARNER AVE ANIMAL HOSPITAL is my FIRST choice for all vet visits & I highly recommend them. Appointment do book up fast, so a few days to week is needed to be seen. I go to my second choice when in a hurry such as a quick shots or urgent matters but this place is worth the wait for annual visits and procedures. (Depending on the situation they may be able to squeeze you in!! Before the pandemic, they fit me in for an emergency). The staff is really nice when booking appointments, going over the charges, and picking up/dropping off the pups to the car. We love Warner Ave Animal Hospital!!

Questions & Answers

How much (roughly) is an annual exam/ check up ?

At minimum, the office visit charge is $35. Any test, diagnosis would be additional charges. Not bad at all depending on the reason for the visit. Even cremation is cheaper than some other places.
