According to the sign the lighthouse is only open once a month, so good luck with that!! But you don’t need the lighthouse to be open to see how gorgeous it is and to enjoy the spectacular view. Do yourself a favor and visit the free museum to learn more about the area and the lighthouse.

Amazing place to visit if your driving thru or want to experience the amazing sights for hours. This is the place. Worth a 5 minute detour if your traveling thru or if you want to visit for a good hour or more, it's a wonderful place to whale watch and just enjoy a nice little walk to and from the lighthouse to the visiting center building. Amazing.

Beautiful area to catch a sunset. Bring binoculars during whale watching season, you may catch one close by. Nice trails, very easy walks. Picnic benches, and area to bring your folding chairs.

I used to count to 15 in between each light!
The park closes at night I believe. The light house outs only open once or twice a month. No-one worries with people that aster watching the sunset though
The light house is open the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 3pm.
