Went in this morning at 8AM because I needed a new battery. Although they were able to test it and help me get a new one they refused to install it even though the front desk manager said it was a complimentary service. When I asked why they were unable to he said because he had to finish his managers tasks and help other potential customers. When I explained to him I was a customer and I needed help to install it, he still refused even though he said it takes 15 minutes. He then told me to I could go to O’Reillys and they might be able to do it. He was polite but a little word of advice- I would refrain in the future from mentioning to customers that you have finish your managers tasks before assisting paying customers right in front of you and then pointing them in the direction of other competitors. Super disappointing. Ended up returning the battery 10 minutes later after calling my local shop auto shop who would sell it and install it under $200.

Excellent and empowering experience with Rene. My check engine light came on in my car. So, of course I panicked and figured this would be very expensive. I decided to go on Youtube to see if I could get any info. I watched a video that said go to AutoZone and have them test your car. I went in. Rene helped me. He was wonderful. He tested my car and sold me the parts that I needed and when I asked if he had any recommendations for places to install the parts he sent me next door to West Hollywood Towing/Auto repair and they were amazing as well. I feel so grateful that a stressful situation for me was made so much easier because of Renes' kindness, patience and expertise. I will return to AutoZone and hope that I get to work with Rene again. Thanks AutoZone for employees like Rene who really care!!!

They refused to help my 18 year old niece install a headlight bulb at dusk. That bummed me out

Asked an employee to assist me because I didn't know where to put the coolant and he never came to help me. After I already paid he still insisted on helping other customers. I hate that customer service is so trashy here. But yet takes your money.

It is free to charge your battery at AutoZone just take your battery in within 3 hours they should have it ready you don't have to buy one unless they tell you to buy one
I have seen novices do the service. Talk to the store associates for tips for your car
