Everyone stays to their self. It’s Peaceful in a great location. And the manager is a very nice and wonderful person. So if you ask me this was a great moveπŸ‘πŸΎ

I feel like some of these other comments may be from past tenants with eviction or something. Because they are very different from the living experience we have had here. Since day one, my apartment has been perfect! The Management team at The Dwell is always quick take care of any little question I might have. Also, I see them out there working hard everyday on the property, making It nice and clean. I love it here and love the staff.

Dwell is a beautiful complex! I love the vibe it has with the colorful doors! The apartments are huge inside and have a cute vibe. The girls in the office are so kind and love their job! They automatically made me feel like I was welcomed and at home!

My wife and I just moved out (May 2021) after being there for almost 3 years, and if you would have asked me before the pandemic, I would be shouting to the rooftops of how excellent this place was. Sadly, over the past year the place has gone to the dogs (literally) and been a place that I would never recommend to anyone. There are great things about Dwell. The apartments are very spacious, especially the living room. We did feel safe (for the most part)... We had to call the police a few times on our neighbors who were abusing each other. Also, the maintenance staff is the jewel of dwell. We became good friends with them and they helped us whenever they could. I truly feel sorry that these two great workers have to be tied to a property so poorly respected by it's residences. The only problem we had with the apartment was the cockroaches. It got to a point where we stopped caring if we saw one scurry over our silverware or come out of our toaster oven because nothing we did fixed it. Plus, Dwell says they have pest control, but they require you to remove yourself and your pets after they spray. We don't have time for that. I would ask to opt out of paying for pest control. Like I said before, we adored Dwell. Our families loved visiting and it was the best student housing for UC Riverside. That all changed when COVID hit, students moved out, and the city took over the apartments and allowed individuals and families to live there subsidized. Now, these people are good people, but they have no respect for the property. Dwell is a pet friendly community, which we took advantage of and had a cat. However, many residences had large dogs and allowed their K9 companions to urinate and poop inside the complex in front of apartment doors. I personally reported a residence twice, and Dwell got back to me and said they would take care of it, but it seemed like it didn't make a difference. The management of Dwell even sent reminders of the pet policy, but it had nothing to back it up. Because of the management and their lack of courage to really fine these residences, this place is unlivable. Finally, being a member of the disabled community, Dwell absolutely fails in being ADA friendly. The doors are an inch above the sidewalks so we had to order a ramp for my wheelchair; the passageway to the parking is so narrow that I hit my chair against the wall a few times; and some laundry rooms are within the pools gates which gave my family great anxiety. I even emailed Dwell and talked to the staff about the dangers of having the laundry room by the pool. I can't swim, so I literally was risking my life walking to the laundry room. Now, they may say I could have used the one laundry room not inside the pool gates, but that would've require me to walk 200 yards, up stairs or up a steep road to it. C'mon, this is a tragedy waiting to happen. I'm sad to say this, but if you are looking for a place to rent by UC Riverside, you should take Dwell off your list. Hopefully, once students return things will change, but I wouldn't move there if I knew what would happen. Maybe this review will help Dwell to step up and not just do one day of "Care for Dwell".
