So, appointment at 1:00, they leave me waiting in the car. At 1:30 angry drive test lady walks by and says turn off engine while you wait. In the sun! Are you kidding! You at 1:55 which let’s call it a hour late I finally got to turn on my air conditioning! I really hope she enjoys my B O from being stuck in my car with 88 degrees temp for 25 minutes without air!

Unlike any other DMV experience. Debbie helped me out and she was very pleasant and super cooperative!! She made the experience good enough one for me to give a review, I usually don’t review things but given all the DMV slander I thought I should shout this location out. Great staff!

I was at the San Marcos DMV today and every employee that I dealt with was courteous, helpful and friendly. I have to give extra kudos to the employee working at window 28 because she kept her cool with a man who tried to bully her into giving him a multi-day extension, and waiving fees. He kept insisting that she do what he wanted and she kept telling him very politely that she did not have the authority to do it. He asked for her supervisor, the head of the DMV office and the head of the whole DMV. She politely gave him the information. She even tried to move him along by telling him that there were other customers waiting that she needed to help. He finally left, but only to cut in front of people to get to the employee at the next window. That employee was also very polite, but he did not get his waiver there either. I was impressed by how they both handled the situation, and the fact that after dealing with him, they continued to be very professional and polite with the rest of us who were waiting impatiently in line. San Marcos DMV employees deserve to be acknowledged for their great work!

I was just here on Jan 31,2022 and I was there for only 32 mins and got my new title for my car , my new registration and plate stickers ! I came around 9 am and there was a small line but was called within 25 mins and was done by one hour ! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Jesus helped me and he was so helpful and nice ! The entire process was fast and easy! There was chairs and all 6 feet 🦶 apart ! They have bathrooms 🚽! And parking was easy ! Definitely recommend this DMV !
